Suburban Legends set: COMPLETE.
This literally took me a year to complete. And it's not even the original image ( [link] hahahah oh god that was awful shit).
So I guess this only really took me a few weeks.
Still, I've been trying to finish a drawing of Derek for over a year now, and this...this completes the set. I mean, I had to draw a new picture of him 'cause he got his hair cut, anyway.
Um, here's the reference picture: [link] (Not zoomed in, of course.)
I took it during his Powerful Game solo while they were here on 11/23 at The Bluebird. Incredible show. Killer time.
Um, I obviously made up the background to match the others (which are all screenshots from the Poisonous Candy Factory DVD). The background sucks shit.
AAAA I AM PRETTY PROUD OF THIS BECAUSE I AM CLEARLY GETTING BETTER AT PORTRAITS AND AT THE SAME TIME I AM KINDA FRUSTRATED WITH IT WHEEE HERE I GO TO SEND IT TO THE BAND HOORAY.

i can't remember if i ever told you in the end or not, but at the reel big fish show where surb legends were supporting i got in backstage and was like heeeey this girl on the internets drew a really fab picture of you and he was like, yeah i know right!
